How to create a battalion

Creating your own battalion allows you to lead a team in competitive Capital Warfare and build your own community within World War Online.

Requirements

To create a battalion, you must:

Requirement Details
Military Rank Rank 25 or higher
No Current Battalion Must not be a member of another battalion

Check your current rank in your profile. If you're below rank 25, continue playing to earn experience and level up.

How to Create a Battalion

Follow these steps to create your battalion:

  1. Click on your Country under your Profile
  2. Click "Create a Battalion"
  3. Select a Battalion Name - Choose carefully (first rename is free, subsequent changes cost 25 WWO)
  4. Confirm creation - Your battalion is now active

Once created, you become the Battalion Leader with full administrative control.

Initial Setup

After creating your battalion, configure these settings:

Battalion Name Your team's identity First change free, then 25 WWO
Battalion Photo Avatar image First change free, then 10 WWO
Background Image Profile backdrop Free to upload

Recruitment Settings

  • Open recruitment for players to request membership
  • Close recruitment for invite-only

Building Your Team

Recruiting Members

As a new battalion leader:

  1. Advertise in Global Chat - Announce you're recruiting
  2. Send invitations - Invite players you've battled alongside
  3. Review applications - Accept players who request to join

Battalion Capacity

  • Maximum 8 members including yourself
  • Up to 7 foreign country members allowed
  • Promote up to 3 Captains to help manage

Choosing Captains

Promote trusted members to Captain to help with:

  • Accepting new members
  • Initiating Capital Warfare searches
  • Managing battalion operations

Leader Responsibilities

As Battalion Leader, you have exclusive abilities:

Action Description
Promote Captains Grant administrative rights
Select new Leader Transfer leadership
Kick any member Remove members including Captains
Close Battalion Dissolve the battalion entirely
Create Forum posts Announcements visible to all members
