Capital Bases are special bases that are automatically generated inside world capitals during Capital Warfare events. These bases are fundamental to winning the game, as conquering and holding them earns points for both the Battalion Leaderboard and Player Leaderboard.

Capital Bases represent the ultimate strategic objectives in World War Online. Coordinating with your battalion to conquer and defend these bases during Capital Warfare events is essential for:

  • Winning seasons - Battalion rankings are determined by capital control
  • Earning rewards - Top battalions receive WWO-Influence rewards at season end
  • Climbing leaderboards - Both battalion and individual rankings depend on capital warfare performance

Capital Warfare Requirements

To attack Capital Bases, you must meet specific requirements:

  1. Battalion Membership - You must be a member of a battalion
  2. Active Capital Warfare - Your battalion must have an active Capital Warfare session
  3. Valid Target - The capital must be one of your battalion's assigned targets
  4. Join Timing - You must have joined the battalion before the Capital Warfare started

Conquering Capital Bases

To conquer a Capital Base:

  1. Include a General in your attack
  2. Achieve a Decisive Victory
  3. The General survives the battle
  4. The General is consumed upon successful conquest

Unlike other bases, Capital Bases have no 24-hour attack limit - you can attack the same capital multiple times during the warfare window.

Defense Strategies

When defending Capital Bases your battalion controls:

  • Coordinate with battalion members to maintain strong defenses
  • Use dynamic defense strategies like Ambush and Flank
  • Position anti-infantry units to counter enemy Generals
  • Rotate defenders to keep defenses fresh
